Marbleous

Marble is taking interior styling by storm at the moment and I am a fan! The luxe feel it gives to a space is its greatest appeal and the subtlety of grey and white as a colour palette makes it adaptable to many colour schemes. My preferred combination currently is marble and blush and marble and copper.

Taj Mahal is clad entirely in marble

Marble's versatility is surprising for a "non-foliated metamorhpic rock composed of recrystallised carbonate minerals." 

It has been traditionally used for sculpture and building materials, particularly favoured during the Roman times. 

These days we will see marble as bench tops, wall tiles, splash back features, baths and more. Just feast your eyes on this heavenly bath, oh the opulence!
